ABOUT

Our club has a rich history, being established during World War II utilising a former military small arms range.

We pride ourselves on being a small and friendly club and consist of approximately 70 members.

We are Home Office approved and affiliated to both the NRA and NSRA.

Due to the limited range space available, the demand for joining HRPC often exceeds our capacity. We therefore must carefully balance that demand with the number of members using the range.

As a small club I’m afraid that we do not have a coaching programme for those that wish to develop their skills to a higher level. However there are external sports bodies that can do this if desired.

We willingly offer advice and support to those new to the sport and there are internal and external competitions that club members take part in that help to improve individual skills.

Whilst hearing and eye protection is available to use for new members, as well as a club air pistol and air rifle, we look to members acquiring their own equipment once settled in. â€‹

We are registered as a Disability Hub Club and we have ramped access for wheelchair users.

Approximately every 13 weeks the ranges will be closed on the Sunday morning to carry out maintenance. All members are encouraged to attend this if they can, the variety of duties will suit all abilities.
